For twenty years, Ricardo Ocreto Alvarado recorded Filipino community life at dances, banquets, baptisms, funerals, and other gatherings. Curated and presented by The Alvarado Project, Portraits of Bayview: Cultural Intersections is a photography exhibit featuring Alvarado's work of chronicling Filipino and Black families and culture in the Fillmore and Bayview Hunters Point neighborhoods of San Francisco. Witness Alvarado's collection of photographs with your neighbors, classrooms, families and friends!
