Spring is in the air, and it is time for our community to celebrate the 28th annual Flores de Mayo Santacruzan Festival. This time honored tradition anchored by the elders at Canon Kip Senior Services in partnership with the SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District, carries our cultural heritage from the homeland to the heart of the Filipino community in San Francisco.

On behalf of Canon Kip and SOMA Pilipinas, we would like to invite our community-based partner organizations to celebrate with us. The festivities will include our annual procession through Yerba Buena Gardens, followed by a delicious serving of Filipino cuisine and a short program at Sentro Filipino.

This year’s festival is one of our flagship events also celebrating SOMA Pilipinas’ Dekada, our 10-year anniversary. Events like Flores de Mayo Santacruzan are vital to our collective mission to preserve our living legacy.
