Join SOMA Pilipinas and our incredible team of Parol Trainers as we kick off this year’s Parol-Making Workshops, starting Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Build your own parol — the iconic Filipino lantern symbolizing hope, blessings, and community during the holiday season — and carry it proudly at the 23rd Annual Parol Lantern Festival on Saturday, December 13 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA)!

Workshops are free, family-friendly, and open to all. Parol Kits are available for a suggested donation of  $20 per kit or $10 for seniors and youth (18 and under)
