In celebration of "Kalayaan" Philippine Independence Month. Anthony Cruz Legarda of The Hinabi Project will be presenting Piña Couture a 30 year retrospective of his work showcasing the gossamer cloth handwoven by Filipino master weavers from Kalibo, Aklan. Shirt, blouses, jackets, kaftan and gowns are intricately hand embroidered and embellished by talented artisans from Lumban, Laguna. Come on Saturday, June 25, 2022 to experience a modern spin on the piña fabric and fashion. It will be a gala night of fashion, food and festivity at the Francisco Filipino Cultural Center in the heart of SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District.
